     ACADEMY are back for a quick follow-up to their 2020 debut album, The Beat Generation, with a refreshing summer pop single on “forever after.” The feel-good, progressive vibes on this track come through clearly both in the production and lyrics.

     The duo has clearly found their niche with an updated spin on the same vibes that captured so many of our ears in the early Aughts and 2010’s. With an almost MAGIC!-like smoothness to their sound, its clear that their influences take shape in reggae. It’s good to see this sound persist throughout music’s changes, and ACADEMY are a great choice to bear the torch.
