Toronto-born, LA-based Jutes has been releasing music for the past five years, establishing his own space in the pop world. The Capitol Records signed artist poses star-power potential as two of his singles “Start over” and “Sideshow” have each surpassed over 2 million streams. Connecting with all of his creative influencers to create radio-like tracks, his latest sound - “Backseat(Kiss me)” is another relaxing single in the line of solid releases he’s put out recently.
Written as a collaborative effort by David James Ramos, Jordan Lutes, Julian Garcia, & Matt Slocum the lyrics translate into a relaxing and care-free sound which should be played with the top down on a sunny day. The vocal personality Jutes adds to this track gives it the dreamy, retro sound as the final product.
