It’s kind of hard to stay out of your feelings when you listen to “18” by Garr. Produced and written by himself, the dreamy, acoustic, and 808 heavy record is a beautiful blend of hip hop instruments and pop-like vocals that collide perfectly with one another. From the laid back vibes to the vulnerable lyrics, this track deserves to be on repeat for sure.
Connecticut based Garr emerged onto the music scene in 2019, and it is clear to see this kid has potential. With one album, one EP, and a couple of singles under his belt, It’s exciting to see what type of artist Garr will develop and grow into. We’ll surely be tuned in for more.
