Gabriel Avrett is an up and coming artist and his newest single “21 Blackjack” will definitely leave you impressed. In this song, Gabriel gets very transparent about his relationship with his girlfriend and how he wishes they could start over. He also reflects on how he feels heartbroken but also believes that nothing good ever seems to last.
“21 Blackjack” has got an Alternative emo rock feel to it with trap elements. I love it when a song is not in a specific genre box and has influences and elements from different styles of music. The track is produced really well keeping in mind Gabriel’s songwriting and vocal performance and I think all the production elements fit right in with the groove of the song. So if you’re looking for an Alternative Emo rock song about heartbreak, ”21 Blackjack” is just for you.
