LoveAura - Difference (feat. Memoria XI)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
The ‘Difference’ between any old song and this new LoveAura song may boil down to a few things. Maybe it’s his undeniably smooth voice, or maybe it’s the way his lyrics make you feel. Or maybe it’s something beneath the surface that simply makes this song the way it is. What we do know is that this dude is sensational, and this song is beautiful.
All of that genre-bending, industry-shattering sound, plus an appearance from Memoria XI to top it all off? Incredible. Love Aura and Memoria’s voices blend so well throughout, perfectly complimenting each other. This is a song for the ages, so you better give it a listen if you haven’t!

THEY. - Losing Focus (with Wale)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
THEY. may be ‘Losing Focus,’ but they definitely aren’t losing momentum this year! What feels like fire release after fire release, this new one might just top them all. Not to mention a guest appearance from one of our favorite lyricists, Wale, to propel this track to the next level.
We aren’t sure why THEY. isn’t a household name yet, but we’re sure that time will come. As much as this song is flat out groovy, it’s also jam-packed with impressive melody composition and flow arrangement. THEY. isn’t the type of duo to be held in a box sonically, and this song just puts that versatility on display all the more.
Be careful, because once you hit play, you won’t be able to turn it off!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Keep bringin' up all the lies that I told ya
Got me walkin' 'round like the world on my shoulders

Porsh Bet$ - Handle
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
This new Porsh Bet$ is too hot to ‘Handle!’ As an artist with only two songs out currently, this dude is already making major noise this year.
Maybe it’s Porsh Bet$’ silky smooth, Jerimih-esque vocals that do it for us. Or maybe it’s his detailed, personal songwriting that seals the deal. Or maybe it’s just the overall vibe we get listening to a song this nice. Either way, we can’t seem to turn it off!
An artist who seems to have such a grasp of music composition and vocal maturity this early on is a sure-fire to be big. You better hop on the bandwagon now while you still can!

Justin Starling - Way it Goes (feat. Flawless Real Talk)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
Justin Starling drops a song. We listen. We go crazy and have it on repeat the rest of the year. That’s just the ‘Way it Goes!’
With a beat harder than a brick wall, a verse and flow that has us wanting to run straight through said brick wall, and an appearance from Flawless Real Talk to bring it all together, it’s absolute wraps. We love the energy and wordplay throughout both verses, and the memorable hook ties it all together perfectly!
We know better than to be surprised when Justin Starling drops something this icy, but here we are, blown away. You better keep an eye out for this dude, he’ll be a household name before you can spell household name.

Jez Dior - Don’t Hang Up
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
‘Don’t Hang Up’ on Jez Dior, this dude is about to be the biggest modern rockstar we may have ever seen! I mean come on, we’ve yet to hear a bad song from him, and these releases seem to only get better and better.
The songwriting, vocal strength, and composition that comes with any Jez Dior song is no joke, and this track is no exception. Filled to the brim with catchy, dance-worthy rhythm and melodies, it’s hard not to get up and go crazy from the moment you play it. The way it continuously builds from chorus to chorus until reaching a full-on festival-worthy blowout, we found ourselves trying to turn up the volume when it was already maxed out.
Give this one a listen ASAP and be prepared to get energized wherever you’re at!

sadgods - House on the Hills (feat. Le Play & vict molina)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
sadgods has always seemed to have a knack for getting us right in our feels. It’s like no matter where you are or what you’re doing, the vulnerable songwriting and heart-grabbing melodies will never fail to hit you where it hurts.
‘House on the Hills’ is a mellowed-out masterpiece, to say the least. From the strumming on the intro, leading to sadgods’ peacefully layered vocals throughout, it’s best enjoyed with a warm cup of tea on a rainy autumn night. As if this wasn’t already enough, Le Play and vict molina decided to join in on the action! These three uber talented and unique artists coming together for one song, you know it’s going to be a whole mood.

Gervs - All I Ask
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
‘All I Ask’ is that when you play this new Gervs track, the volume is turned all the way up! From the moment that bass-line introduced the song, up until the the solemn, yet cinematic hook, we were fully captivated.
Gervs has the type of voice that soothes your soul instantly. That calmness paired with his ever-so detailed and intimate songwriting creates such an amazing vibe around the song. Speaking partly from the perspective of his mom and reflecting on his own pain, we as listeners can not only get a glimpse of Gervs’ reality, but heavily relate to our own.

MEMORIA XI - Alive
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
Some songs are just so full of energy and real emotion, you can’t help but feel ‘Alive’ when listening. That’s pretty much how most MEMORIA XI songs feel, and this new one is no exception!
Digging deep into his most inner thoughts and feelings on this one, XI gives us a glimpse into exactly what he’s going through right now. It not only takes courage to be this vulnerable on a track, but an equal level of talent to be able to convey his thoughts as well as he does. KennyHoopla - lost cause// (with grandson)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
A year after the initial release of his hit song ‘lost cause,’ KennyHoopla is back again, and this time adding grandson to the mix! The amount of vibes in this song is immaculate; we promise once you play it once you won’t be able to turn it off.
That hook is absolutely killer! The fullness of the layered vocals and stereo’d instrumentation creates a stadium-worthy sound that demands to be played at full volume. We love grandson’s change of pace and perspective as well, adding even more flow and melody innovation into this track. Do yourself a favor and give this one a spin right now if you haven’t!

The detailed storytelling and emotional vocal tone gives us vibes of an early Shawn Mendes. And we’re pretty certain Ruel’s talent will continue to carry on that momentum and reach those heights!

Church-Hill - Maybe
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
‘Maybe’ it’s the extremely catchy hook, or ‘Maybe’ it’s just Church-Hill’s undeniably cool vocal cadence, but either way, this song is the perfect track for your fall playlist.
It’s not often that a song can make us want to chill out, sing along, and get up and dance all at the same time. The way Church-Hill effortlessly switches melodies and flows throughout the course of the song is both impressive and a great display of his versatility as an artist.
From just two songs out currently, we can tell this dude has a bright future. Go give ‘Maybe’ a spin if you haven’t!

By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
This song is so catchy, it’s currently ‘Revolving’ on repeat in our queue! As an artist who’s consistency and sheer vocal talent has brought him a long way over the years, Yung bae is showing no signs of slowing down with this one.
The amount of grooviness squeezed into this 3 minute song is unbelievable. From Yung Bae’s large scale introduction, to Marc E. Bassy’s effortlessly-smooth vocals, it appears as if these two shouldn’t have waited this long to get on a song together!
We challenge you to listen to this song and not smile or bob your head. It’s literally impossible.

We really love the detailed storytelling throughout the song, too! It truly feels like we get to be a part of the story being told and watch it unfold in real time. remy - he’s not your boyfriend, he’s your boy friend
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
if 2020 were to have any bright spots, this releasing spree from remy would have to be one. As an artist with a knack for detailing specific experiences through creative songwriting, remy wants to remind you that the dude you think you like is in fact, ‘not your boyfriend.’
Right off the bat, the title is super bold and hilarious. We love music that steps outside of cliche boxes and spews honestly, regardless of how blunt it may be. It’s just a plus that this song also comes jam-packed with catchy melodies and a hook that’s impossible not to sing along to!
remy is an artist you’ll be seeing a lot of going forward, so it’s best you get acquainted now if you haven’t yet!

Laai - Hailee (feat. Wes Writer & Justin Starling)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
There’s just something about songs with a person’s name as the title that feels so intriguing to us. It’s such a personal word that we can tell means a lot to the artist, and hearing Laai write about it the way he does is truly beautiful!
The fact that this already-vulnerable song also includes perspectives from Wes Writer and Justin Starling makes it all the more amazing. Although the song is focused around the same topic of relationships, we as listeners get to hear three completely different stories and experiences! Not to mention how flat out fire they sound as far as flow, bars, and melodies go.

Valley - hiccup
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
The same way that a ‘hiccup’ seems to just never go away once you feel it, neither does Valley. The only difference is that when it comes to this band, you don’t want them to go away. This song is perfectly arranged and filled to the brim with nostalgia.
Valley just has a knack for making you feel a certain way; whether it’s happy, sad, reminiscent, or just ready to get up and dance! COIN - You Are The Traffic
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @barelytrev
Although this band just released an album earlier this year, we’ve been anxiously waiting for something new. COIN is the type of band you just can’t get enough of, and this new song goes to show just how talented and unique they really are.
We love the name of it right off the bat. ‘You Are the Traffic?’ Like what does that even mean? Like most COIN tracks, the lyrics are so beautifully poetic that we can assume it doesn’t have just one, surface-level meaning. What we do know is that the words and the way they’re sung just makes us feel some type of way!
Major props to these guys for being such a does of inspiration and good vibes over the years. Go give this new one a listen ASAP!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Everyone's in the way
Except you
