TMack Doesn’t Miss On His Latest EP “Light Years”

Have you ever listened to an artist that caught your attention on the first listen? If so, what made them standout? Was is there cadence or overall delivery? Or was it there songwriting? This week, I came across a rising artist that made me fall in love with music all over again. That artist is rising rapper/producer TMack. Hailing from Memphis, TN, TMack has taken the music industry by storm. With production and engineering credits that have seen him work with the likes of Young Thug & Young Dolph, the rising star has continued to grow. Now, he enters our pages with his long awaited EP LIGHT YEARS.
LIGHT YEARS is a 3-track masterpiece that shows the culmination of TMack’s abilities as a rapper, producer, and engineer. It's a musical narrative of TMack's life and aspirations showcasing his growth as an artist, and his steadfast commitment to his journey. Although it’s only 3 songs, these well-crafted records are laced with captivating flows, engaging sonics, and they are carried by hooks that are otherworldly. My favorite record from the project was “Focused”. I loved the erie feel mixed with the 808s and memorable vocal sample. The flows were precise, and his songwriting was in the forefront. The crispiness of his vocals can be heard, and I loved the overall mix. Although this was the standout, each of the three songs tell a different story that give insight into the artist’s life.
Pre-orders for the EP went live on May 28th along with his song “25 Hours”. The full EP will be released on June 6th. With that being said, we urge you to check out the full EP when it’s released. TMack is a burgeoning star!
