SOMA79 is a burgeoning star that is known for his independent Hip-Hop sound and visual arts. He’s daring, raw, and he stands out amongst his counterparts. Collaborating with artists & performers such as Ras Kass, Kool Keith, Adrian Grenier (HBO's Entourage), Alex Merkin (Across the Hall), Evan Ferrante (Not Tom Cruise, Swan's Crossing), Esoteric (Czarface), Elzhi (Slum Village), Percee P, Copywrite (Weathermen), Young Dirty Bastard (Wu-Tang Clan), & Mac Lethal, SOMA79 has cemented himself within the entertainment industry. Now, he enters our pages with his collaborative EP "Quite Life, Loud Friends" with the talented Pilze Beats.

Pilze Beats is a versatile prodigy that is skilled in producing, engineering, mixing, mastering, & Djing. He is what I call an artist’s “artist”. On their latest project, the duo takes listeners on a sonic journey that they won’t want to end. The EP serves as a victory lap of both of their successes over the years, and it showcases their ability to push the boundaries of music as a whole.

This is an EP about people finding their way out on the outskirts, finding human connection from across the globe (through collaborations with MCs from Florida, Ohio, and Alaska), managing a life, going through change, and navigating between having a good time and too good of a time" says Soma.

The 6-track EP is a sonic masterpiece. It’s innovative, fresh, and its exactly what listeners need. Carried by lush melodies, ear-worm hooks, and engaging production, there are no skips on the project. From start to finish, you will be captivated. My favorite records were “These Trees Have Eyes”, “The Door or The Window”, & “Roaming with the Buffalo”. Overall, this is one of my favorite projects. So, stream it below!
