“PROBLEMS” never sounded like a good thing until Carver Jones dropped his latest EP

Carver Jones Omaha native is completely altering the indie game at the moment. His music in our eyes has been a combination of indie/alternative with a pinch of country charm. This artist’s individuality speaks for itself, once you have a listen. This inspiring twenty-one-year-old is giving other artists a run for their money with the confidence he brings that us listeners can hear.

If you’re Dominic Fike or a BRELAND fan, we assure you this is the artist for you. He compacted so much talent within a four-song EP, you’re grasping for more after the first thorough listen. Starting from the beginning, “PROBLEMS" is a feel-good melody overall. It’s something you’d want to hear during the summer season, bringing the tropical elements within the song. ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ caught us off guard with a slower tempo, while keeping the verses still very intriguing. His cadences within this song blended smoothly, maintaining a rather sexy appeal overall.

Jones’ third song on the EP “HIT THE ROAD!(JACK),” brought this western attribute that was welcomed happily. The difference with this artist adding a country element to his music was that he maintained his identity. While the song started off in typical country/pop fashion, Jones brought it back to his roots with an indie flourish in the hook. Man, did he turn this song into something so completely awe-inspiring with this one transition. Jones final song ‘Winter’ finishes the EP off esquestely. If you weren’t shocked by Jones’ ability to adapt and transform yet, he keeps delivering. While keeping his sound, ‘Winter’ contains a seventies, rock theme. It’s smooth. It’s alluring. It’s enticing. Jones, Banger of the Day begs you for more and we just know you won’t dissapoint.
