Hailing from Maryland, Tayy Brown has been making a name for himself over the last two years with his lush melodies and intoxicating songs. Although it seems like the hip-hop landscape is overcrowded, Tayy isn’t like a lot of other artists in his lane. He makes music with a purpose and a touch of personability that is relatable to all. With that being said, Brown is back to bless us with his new album ‘Love letter to my fans: Part one’.

From start to finish, the album is full of balanced production and songs that give an introspective look into the artist’s life. The thing that stood out to me the most was Tayy’s vocal growth on this project. On a majority of the songs we hear more mature songwriting, and his vocal performances are truly in the pocket. The standout song for us has to be ‘LLTMF (stuck in the middle)’. ‘LLTMF (stuck in the middle)’ serves as a confessional single that gives an introspective look into the daily things Brown has to juggle being a rapper and a family member. The song is expressive and the raw lyricism helps paint a picture that is relatable to all that listen. With that being said, if you are in need of new music, give this project a listen now!

Favorite Song: LLTMF (stuck in the middle)

Lyrics That Stick:

”Sometimes I feel like I’m driving me down the one way

Watching a bunch of folks lie to my face it’s been a long day”
