Being a first-time listener of Hush Forte, to say I’m impressed would be an understatement. From his ability to craft stories through effortless flows and writing, to the sheer emotion in melodies and song arrangements, ‘LOOK CLOSELY’ feels like the beginning of a special career for this talented artist.
There’s such a range sonically throughout these 12 songs, showcasing Hush Forte’s versatility in such a unique yet intentional way. There’s a level of conciseness to the music, feeling like one ongoing story as you listen through. Albums like these that are truly made to be played through are my favorites because they carry such a vulnerable, emotional aspect that’s only translated through personal experiences.
Give this project a listen if you haven’t yet - you won’t regret it.
