It’s rare that I find an emerging artist that captivates me on the first listen. However, emerging rapper Logos The Poetic has my attention. Although he’s relatively unknown, the mysteriousness around his come up and background has me fully invested in his career. Like, who is Logos The Poetic? Where is he from? What pushed him to be an artist? Is he an industry plant? These are all thoughts and questions that have no answer. Even though there is more to discover about the artist, I can confidently say he is one of the most talented artists I have found this year. He’s polarizing and his aura can’t be matched. With even less songs than information on the artist, he enters our pages with his impressive debut album “Death, The Fool”.

“Death, The Fool” is an impressive debut for an artist that is trying to find their footing in the industry. The 10-track album dives into multiple topics that revolve around mental health, self-acceptance, and confronting life and death. Logos The Poetic shines on the album by delivering prolific bars and expressing his trials & tribulations through his introspective storytelling. Each song builds on the previous, and you can sense his emotions by his cadence choices. He’s very calculated with his approach, and he allows each song to have its own moment. This isn’t a commercial album. This is a reflective masterpiece where we see a rising rapper allow his vulnerabilities to help him pen a relatable project. Logos The Poetic can’t miss. From his sharp vocal delivery to his keen ear for sonics, he crafts an album that is the best thing I have heard in months. I can’t even remember the last time an artist with less then 10 songs had me this hooked. If I could compare him to any mainstream artists, I would say there are elements of Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar, & IshDARR in his sound. He is just that talented. Overall, “Death, The Fool” is a must-listen album. Our favorite records were “Snapshot”, “Adonis”, & “Loopin”. With that being said, stream the record below and vibe out!
