Hailing from Seattle, WA, rising singer-producer, Dre Fariñas, has become one of the most polarizing artists in the industry. He is raw, relatable, and versatile. His sound is expansive, and he has this innate ability to craft infectious records that are truly captivating. Beginning his career as a drummer, the rising artist grounds his music in rhythm & feel with touches of catchy melody. Known for his euphoric sound, his dynamic sounding records are upbeat & danceable. After impressing me with his singles “All Night Long” & “JUICY HONEY”, he continued his hot run with the release of his album “Late Night Jukebox”.

“Late Night Jukebox” is an enchanting body of work carried by 15 exceptional songs. The album transcends the boundaries of genres, and it fuses them all into one exceptional sound. I have yet to hear an album as captivating as this. From the vocal delivery to the sonics, Dre Fariñas proves he has the star power to be a household name. The album is cohesive at its core and each song builds on the next. My favorite songs from the album were “Ride or Die”, “All Night Long”, & “Back and Forth”. “All Night Long” was a previously released single but I loved the melodic feel sonically. The groove of the song is captivating, and I loved his soft vocal tones. This was my favorite track vocally. Dre Fariñas felt comfortable over the production and the songwriting was relatable. “Back and Forth” is a sensual song that is perfect for the club. I loved the pacing and upbeat tempo of the record. Dre Fariñas’ vocal vibrato was sung to perfection. Each note brings you in. In addition, the hook is otherworldly. “Ride or Die” took me to another place. The record is laced with lush melodies, warm vocal tones, and the imagery in his lyrics paints a perfect picture for listeners. Overall, this is one of my favorite albums of the year. So, stream the album below and vibe out!
