Hip-Hop has been a genre that has provided the most generational influence as of recent. For those willing to disagree, I understand that Rock had a hold on previous generations that was just as strong as Hip-Hop. However, through the discussion and opinions, Hip-Hop is now at the pinnacle and top of the mountain. It has been the top selling/charting genre for a while. Although there has been more commercial success, we as listeners have become lazy with the artists we let have viral success. As a blogger, it is my job to make sure we even the playing field and shine a light on the up and coming artist that will be the “stars” of tomorrow.
