Kaash Paige - Teenage Fever

Kaash Paige treats us to a tour through the ethereal soundscape of her mind on the stunning R&B record, Teenage Fever. With Don Tolliver and Isaiah Rashad features, Paige needed to really step up to ensure her solo tracks didn’t get washed out, and she succeeded to great effect.
From the album’s opener, “London,” we see Kaash in no-holds-barred form. With a ton of energy spent in keeping production quality turned up to the maximum - each track has at least two producers - the R&B starlet doesn’t let up when it comes to lyricism and musicality across the album. Sure, the big name tracks stand out with top-notch features, but Kassh Paige really shines when she’s alone on a track. She uses production in unique ways to get her thoughts out and subverts genre expectations constantly.
This album gets in line with other R&B projects of its kind while maintaining a freshness and sense of exploration that’s hard to come by in today’s music scene. Check out the 13-track album for 36 minutes of relaxation and pure, unadulterated vibes.
Lyrics That Stick:
“They callin' me toxic
'Cause these hoes they be just hella obnoxious
Blowin' up my phone and steady talkin'
Competin' for my love, it's not an auction
Fucked up off these drugs, let's get it poppin’”
