J-Wright, although still relatively new to the music scene, delivers such a powerful album in ‘Rain & Fire’ that you would think he was one of the veterans of music. It has a little bit of everything, from club music to the most honest and sincere. Through 12 tracks, it really takes us on a rollercoaster of emotion.

Maybe that’s why the album has it’s title. Not only does it describe the variety on the project, but it shows the war inside of J-Wright. He speaks multiple times on expectations that he feels and the sacrifices that he’s made for this music. After listening to this album, you can’t help but cheer for him and hope that his dreams come true. My favorite is still one of the singles, ‘Youth’, just for it’s honest and the different sound that it brings to the project. However, there wasn’t a single song on the project that I didn’t enjoy.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Rain in the fire, got the rain in the fire

Not the fame I desire, no, I wish to claim something higher”
