ASTN is an artist who has captivated us all with his smooth melodies and his ability to craft music that bends genres. After releasing some of his best work to date with singles such as ‘LA DON’T LOOK GOOD ON U’ and ‘eighty five 911’, the LA-based singer blessed us with his new project ‘IT’S NOT THAT SERIOUS’.

The 5-song project is a collection of some ASTN’s most complete work and it is matched with his signature style of songwriting and innovative production. Although it’s short in length, the project vividly describes his growth as a person and an artist over the past year. With my personal favorite ‘LA DON’T LOOK GOOD ON U’, he describes the harsh reality of someone changing who they are to fit in with the dog eat dog world of LA. From the first time I listened to this song I knew it would be a timeless jam that would last for years on years. In addition to that, another highlight would have to be the production and vocal performance on ‘IT’S NOT SO SERIOUS’ which is the title track of the project. The smooth production and ASTN’s cadence helps craft a single about taking life in strides and enjoying it for what it is. Overall, the project is a success and we can tell it’s a project that you will want to keep on repeat.

Favorite Song: LA DON’T LOOK GOOD ON U

Lyrics That Stick:

”Fendi or red bottoms

You can keep your problems”
