Drake - Dark Lane Demo Tapes (Album Review)

We all know that Drake makes bangers.. like, we all know that. But just in case you forgot, he gave us some free bangers BEFORE his summer album drops. 14 tracks deep, his mixtape consists mainly of tracks that have been previously leaked onto SoundCloud and other hiding places of the internet.
The mixtape features the single ‘Toosie Slide’, the song that took Drake to Tik Tok virality as well as on every other platform known to man. But ‘dance music’ is not a theme throughout the rest of the tape. Through the other 13 tracks we see Drake do it all, as he also has. We see his conscious rap, bangers, and the times when he sings. If nothing else, Drake showed us that he is still on top and that all other artists are working to catch up to him. If you disagree, go and check it out for yourself.
