South Carolina rapper Brandon ThaKidd is back with a 2-song drop. “Different” and “Empty” each show their own unique looks into the rappers ruthless flow. “Different” starts on a poignant, guitar-heavy intro that soon gives way to a painstaking hook and dramatic trap drums. The soft, plaintive guitar never fades in the mix, but always remains to be the foil to Brandon ThaKidd’s effortlessly heartfelt vocals.

Joshreyy and DxnnyFxntom produced the 637godwin-assisted southern club trap banger, “Empty.” The production is truly standout with guitar riffs that are the glue between both rappers’ distinct styles. Brandon ThaKidd shines on this song, weaving his unmistakable voice in and out of the beat and 637godwin’s verse. A fitting complement to “Different.”
