Maybe it’s too early to claim a project as my personal favorite of the year, but this new DWY just might take it! ‘8-Bit Memories’ is a 7-song blend of nostalgic, hopeful, sweet-toned music that’s sure to have you feeling just about every emotion there is.

DWY’s versatility is on full display throughout. From simplistic RnB ballads, to cinematic modern pop, to soothing soul music, it’s pretty much got something for everyone. At the same time, there’s this concise quality to the tracks in how they flow together and tell this overarching story. I want to kick back, sip a warm cup of tea, and let this project take me to a different dimension! Don’t worry, once you hear it, you’ll understand what I mean.

Favorite Song: Summer’s Over

Lyrics That Stick:

Daddy told me

Ain’t no good in goodbye
