Johan Lenox Recruits Ant Clemons for ‘You Up?’ Visual

There’s something about this Johan Lenox track that has me wanting to call up my ex on a Tuesday night, and I mean that in the best way possible. Not only is it insanely catchy, but its rich in emotion and full of relatable storytelling. Complimented by a stunning visual that then brings that story to life, and a falsetto-heavy appearance from Ant Clemons, I’d say this one is the full package.

That chorus is one of the most quote-worthy pieces I’ve heard in a minute. I can imagine myself taking a late-night drive and just shouting ‘YOU UP?’ along with Johan and his larger-than-life vocals.

I also love the overall aesthetics of the video, incorporating the two artists in the backseat at night, seeming to reflect and ponder on their complicated relationships. It’s moody, yet full of vibrant colors throughout. Check it out if you haven’t yet!

Lyrics That Stick:

“I just wanna feel like I’m enough

You up?”
