When it comes to the music industry, Detroit has a rich history of producing some of the most innovative artists that have paved the way for many in today’s musical landscape. From the likes of Bob Seger, Eminem, The White Stripes, and Stevie Wonder, music seems to have always been in the forefront of The Motor City. Although things have changed recently due streaming, one artist that continues to excel from the city has to be Big Sean. Over the last decade, Big Sean has captivated listeners with his exceptional delivery and vulnerable lyricism. Now, the Detroit-rapper is back with his latest collaboration with Grammy Award winning producer Hit-Boy titled “What A Life”.

The single is Sean’s first release as a lead artist in 2021, and it features his exceptional delivery and captivating lyrics. In addition, the production has a bounce that will make you want to head bob the whole song’s duration. On top of that, he also released a visual to accompany the single. In the visual, Big Sean is seen flying through the city before transitioning to him rapping with a swarm of bees around him. As the visual continues, he is seen doing office work and carrying a load of money before it cuts to him running away from several brides as they chase him. Overall, the visual is fun and it marks a great return for the Detroit rapper.
