Music has always been a remedy for heartbreak, and Florida trap crooner, Rod Wave, is known for bringing all the emotions into his music. With his latest release ‘Tombstone’, Rod recalls the struggles that made him the way he is. To accompany the powerful track, Rod also dropped a chilling and confessional video that brings light to his lyrics.
The Reel Goats directed video has a somber feel and it gives a reflective view into what seems like Rod as a kid. Throughout the video, we see the rapper discussing his shortcomings in a snowy forest. In the visual, we see a kid enduring similar tribulations while watching his parents fight due to personal issues. The video gets its climax when the kid has a run-in with the cops and ultimately passes suddenly. Rod’s song is backed with raw and personal lyrics, and the video only gives his words the chance to shine. With that being said, make sure to watch this chilling video above.
