Opening with an a capella verse that does anything but sacrifice melody, tobi lou’s latest single, “Student Loans.” Intercut shots of getting hit in a karate dojo set the stage for a song all about staying positive in the context of life’s trials. Student loans might be what are preventing tobi from generational wealth right now, but with a catalogue of hits and plenty more great ones on the way we can only hope he’s on the way out.
“Student Loans” combines eclectic production with tobi’s ironclad, symphonic flow, carrying us through the short track. This song is definitely best enjoyed alongside its video counterpart. Watch it above!
