Skizzy Mars said it himself… it’s SKIZ SZN! After previewing this song on his socials last week, the anticipation was high for the release. All I’ll say is, this dude did not disappoint!
‘Slow Dance’ feels like an 80’s theme song with the classic Skizzy Mars take on flow and vocal delivery. I literally listened one time and the hook was then stuck in my head all day. On top of the great track, this video is super fun and sure to bring a smile to your face. I love the simplicity of the scene, offering such an intimate and momentary glimpse into the emotions brought out by the song. And whether it was intentional or not, I love the fact that showing these girls on the train references one his older songs, ‘Girl On A Train’ (which never had its own video).
I’m super excited to see what else Skiz brings us in 2021. Check this one out in the meantime!
