Payday Continues Her Hot Run With Her Latest Offering “Shadow Puppets”

Following the release of her last single “White Mercedes”, emerging artist, Payday, returns with her latest offering “Shadow Puppets”. The single is the second release that comes from her her upcoming EP ‘Trips to Venus’, and it truly shows her growth as an artist. With the EP taking a darker feel sonically and visually, Payday is truly showing how unique she is as a songwriter and vocalist.
“Shadow Puppets” is a somber, stripped-back song that touches on loneliness & mental health, and showcases Payday’s candid storytelling that is fueled by passion and vulnerability. The music video is an eerie stop-motion visual that reflects the melancholy tone of the song. Overall, the song is becoming my favorite out of the two releases, and I am extremely excited to hear what is to come.
