dee holt & Chris James Will Have You Asking For a “Picture” After New Music Video

Within only a few moments of pressing play, Montreal artist, dee holt, and songwriter/producer Chris James turned me from a stranger to a fan with their new song, “Picture”. This Bedroom-Pop dance track ties together infectious melodies with drums that make you bob your head without even realizing. Dee’s soothing vocals open up the song over a groovy bass line, and Chris brings it home with his unique vocal tone and lyricism.
“Picture” is the first song I’ve heard from the two artists, but certainly won’t be my last. “It's easy-going, summery, and fun to listen to with a deeper meaning hidden behind it,” explains dee. “It's about opening up to someone and finally letting your guard down”. With a nostalgic, feel-good, video to accompany the song, I could see this song opening a lot of new doors for dee holt and Chris James.
