Due to the impact of Covid-19 on the music industry, many artists were forced out of their comfort zones. With that being said, touring was heavily impacted, and we saw a shortage of high production music videos due to social distancing. However, even though the industry has been in hysteria, it has positively pushed artists to become more personable and creative with how they present their music. With his latest music video for his song titled ‘Peak’, Myazwe delivers a spectacular green screen showing of his future rise to success.
The music video is fun and entertaining, and ‘Peak’ itself reminds me of something A$AP Rocky would make. With nods to meme culture, Myazwe is seen boasting about his future success, and the video takes an amazing turn when he finally decides to go to the league. With this being my first time seeing Myazwe, I can tell he has the ‘IT” factor. His music is infectious, and his personality is a brand in itself. Although he is an emerging artist, he has proven that he can make videos that are just as compelling as his high energy songs.
