When it comes to chasing a dream, there is a level of maturity and sacrifice that you have to commit to for you to achieve those said dreams. With his fourth single of the year titled ‘No Fun’, Seattle-native, Ryan Caraveo, discusses the need to celebrate when he gets to the mountain peak of success he is eyeing. He understands that now is too early to celebrate because he knows there are still ways to go. Although the single is about having “No Fun”, there is a beauty in the well-crafted lyrics that would suggest that he is loving what he is doing. The single serves as an ode to his unwavering commitment and it shows his passion to be more than what he is today.

The accompanying video, which can be seen above, was directed by John Frost. In the cinematic piece, we see beautiful transitions that showcase Ryan expressing his need to have everything he wants and to prove the doubters wrong. The scenes where he is holding the fish bowl and standing behind the balloons are golden. With that being said, this has to be my favorite release from the emerging artist and I can’t wait for the project.

Lyrics That Stick:

“I don’t wanna celebrate

I don’t wanna get high, I wanna elevate

I’ve been up for hella day

She calls it a daydream, think it’s time to separate”
