daydream Masi Embraces A Fresh Start With His Enchanting New Single “New Beginnings”

Hailing from Akron, OH, rising singer-songwriter, daydream Masi, is an artist that has recently caught our attention with his ability to merge hip-hop, soul, R&B, and electronic into one captivating sound that defies all genres. His songwriting is mature, and his production is so intoxicating that it will have you begging for more. After initially hearing talks about him through other bloggers, I was blessed to come across his latest single “New Beginnings” and I immediately fell in love. The song encompasses his ability to paint chapters of his life through music with lush, deep, and meaningful combinations of sounds. It is the first song from his catalog that Masi wrote, produced, and arranged entirely on his own.
Masi states, "’New Beginnings’ is about addiction. Honey is the stand in medium for whatever your addiction may be. Honey is wonderful. I actually love honey. Good for the mind and body, sweet to the taste. One who is full loathes honey from the comb, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet."
Overall, the single is one of our favorites as of recent and I’m so glad we came across it. Masi is an extraordinary artist and he has a voice that will truly touch people so I am glad to see where he ends up in the next few years.
