If you are looking for the perfect record to play at your next booze-filled pre-game, then you need to acquaint yourself with LA-based rapper-singer MILES. On his new single ‘MOSH PIT’, the emerging artist delivers an enthusiastic follow-up to his last hit ‘Desperados’. ‘MOSH PIT’ is a captivating effort that has enough energy to carry a whole party from start to finish, and I can’t wait to hear this on the festival stages soon. In addition to the single, MILES also released a visual to accompany the record.
In the accompanying video for ‘MOSH PIT’, MILES is seen singing in a room full of clocks discussing how time is still moving even though the world is shut down (Covid-19 bar?). However, as the video progresses we see his need to get out of this constant cycle and embrace the rockstar he was born to be. MILES wants the show and he wants to be at the center of attention. His enthusiastic and positive energy warrants that. We see that displayed with scenes of him jumping around with people in a glitchy room, him playing guitar, and him ultimately waking up from it all as if it was a dream. This is a great return for the artist, and it is one of my favorite records this summer.
Lyrics That Stick:
“How the clock keep running while the world shut down?
I don’t want no money, I need love right now”
