When it comes to wedding receptions, you can typically find me at the bar, but this new video for Shordie Shordie & Murda Beatz's new single ‘Love’ has me wanting to be a wedding singer. The CatchRec and Jermane Prime video is a fun Rat Pack Esque video that has a psychedelic touch that makes you keep your eyes glued the entire time. The song itself is hypnotic, and the chorus is so intoxicating that you just can’t get enough. After my 5th time watching the video, I found myself knowing every single lyric.
Outside of the amazing visuals, we are also gifted with a special appearance by Trippie Redd. Trippie is the finishing piece to this puzzle, and he doesn’t disappoint. With his buttery flows, he continues the overall theme of the song with confidence. ‘Love’ is about passing on the typical relationship toxicity and realizing that you want that other person. After watching this video, seeing a married couple was a good change to the typical toxicity I see within artist’s music videos. It is good to see a happy ending once in a while. With that being said, we believe everyone should check this video out above!
