Kayls Shines On Her Dramatic Ballad, “Internet”

When it comes to music, I’m always searching for artists that can convey real emotions and allow listeners to enter into their world. With the oversaturation of songs being released daily, it’s often hard to find genuine artists. However, when I do, I make sure to savor that moment. Whether it’s the songwriting, song arrangement, or production, these artists are forcing us all to find hope and a voice that we may be missing personally. One artist that recently surprised me was LA-based singer-songwriter Kayls. The emerging singer recently penned a dramatic ballad that touches on our generation’s addiction to social media. Although this is something we can all relate to, her new single “Internet” gives an introspective take on how damaging social media can be.

“Internet” is laced with engaging synths and slow acoustics that allow her emotional vocals to shine. As the song builds, her intentions and intensity rise. With a dreamy and languid atmosphere, Kayls is haunted by the loneliness of modern life. Overall, Kayls has shown again why she has the “IT” factor. As a rising pop artist, she is setting the tone of what “true” artistry looks like. She is bringing integrity back into music. So, make sure to stream the visual for her new single above!
