Barely Trev Shines On His ‘Meet-Cute’ Ready Anthem “I Already Know”

Hailing from Minnesota, emerging singer/songwriter, Barely Trev, has been an artist that we have deemed as “One To Watch” for 2023. After uprooting his life in America and moving to Europe over the Summer, he has continued to impress us with his monthly singles that continue to get better and better. Now, he is back with his latest single “I Already Know”, and it is the perfect soundtrack for the Fall season.
To me, the single feels like 60 degree weather and coffee dates on Sunday mornings due to how pleasant and engaging the overall sound is. Every time I throw the song on I yearn for sunny days spent with good people. Trev does an incredible job lyrically at evoking those raw emotions you feel when you initially begin falling for someone new. In addition, his vocals are exception, and the mesh well with smooth sonics. When it comes down to the singles subject matter of realizing the person you like actually like you back, Trev states, “ The single tells a victory story of said hesitant party finally realizing they like you back. Through fun pop-fused guitar riffs, bouncy drum pads, and melodies that you can scream with the windows down, this song is the perfect fit for any Saturday picnic, road-trip with friends, or karaoke party at home.” Overall, the song is a definite smile generator so make sure to stream the video above and add the song to your playlists!
