Hailing from Oslo, Norway, emerging singer, Havanna Winter, is becoming the music industry’s golden standard. She is what the upper echelon of pop should aspire to sound like. At only 17-years-old, her mature songwriting and vocal range has proven she has talent well beyond her years. Now, she debuts on our pages with her latest single “Tornado”.
With a music video to accompany the single, we see Winter embrace The Wizard of Oz. The visual is captivating and it brings her lyrics to life. As a visual person, I loved the color grading, pacing, and artistic direction of the Éli Sokhn-directed visual. When describing the song, I have to say that it is a masterpiece. Sonically, I loved the build-up, and the synths were perfect. Vocally, her range and cadence selection were a chef’s kiss. Overall, this is a must-hear song so stream the visual above!
