Gianni Taylor & KoVu join forces to film the music video for their latest duet, “Best Of Me.” The grainy, desaturated video puts both music forces on full display, a beautiful meshing of hip-hop and R&B into rap elegance. The video itself, produced by Brandon Owen, Jesse Schroeder, and Jacob Cushman fits the same theme that the lyrics bely, creating a one-to-one creative vision that links the same emotion between multiple senses.
The soft track borders between regretful and prideful, as Gianni and KoVu take turns lamenting and espousing their relief at their current state of being. It’s a treat to see different artists come together as one on a release, and “Best Of Me,” does that in the best of ways.
