There’s been a lot to be excited about as far as music goes this year, but this one might just take the cake. Alternative rock, indie-pop sensation renforshort teaming up with hyper pop trailblazer glaive on a song? I already knew it was going to insane.
renforshort has been super exciting to watch lately because of how versatile her sound is. I love how blunt and intimate her songwriting style comes through as she’s able to translate her message over any type of stylistic sound. Add that to a complex, intriguing story that’s continuously unfolding in her music videos, and it’s hard not to be impressed. glaive on the other hand has been pushing the boundaries of pop music in ways I didn’t know I could love so much, and it’s super awesome to get a glimpse of where the genre is headed through him.
‘fall apart’ combines the insane talents and sounds of both these unicorns of artists, shaping it up to be an early-ballot song of the summer! From the song arrangements themselves to the aesthetics of this eye-drawing visual, all I can say is hats off to renforshort and glaive for blessing us yet again.
