If you know Tik Tok, then you have to know who Evann McIntosh is and her outstanding release ‘What Dreams Are Made Of.’ The music video for this song is out and is so well made and portrays exactly what we want to see from a symphony like this one. Evann McIntosh is laying in her bedroom with these adorable pink, striped pajamas and two ballerina buns in her hair as she starts singing the beginning of the song. We loved the childhood theme of this video and it ties in so flawlessly with this idea that someone out there is exactly what you’ve dreamed love to be like and encompass since you were little.
She mentions how she’s see’s this person in her dreams and they feel so magical and heartwarming like strawberries and whipped cream, bathtubs, beaches and sunscreen. She intently watches the ballerina of her music box come to life in shadow form and dance along her walls. All of sudden her bedroom starts crashing down from a crack in the wall and the next thing we know Evann takes a ride through the clouds on her bed. I mean, how dreamy!
You think the song is over, but all of a sudden a terrible lighting storm starts in the sky and the sweet and young looking Evann is now shown in a black cloak chanting how a wonderful woman is the most dangerous weapon and how she must be careful and protect herself from losing all of her in love. It’s such a symbolic way of showing the idea of being in a relationship with someone verses the reality that follows. This music video really showed such a great job of the compare and contrast formula used within the lyrics of the song focusing on love. It’s beautiful, she’s amazing and y’all just need to go and stream it already, because it really is ‘What Dreams Are Made Of!’
