Easton Wes - Morning (Music Video)

This was the first time I’ve ever heard of Easton Wes, but after watching his music video I somehow feel like I know less about him.. And yes, that is a compliment to him. With the aura of mystery in his music, I feel like I will have to go all the way through his catalogue before I will get an idea of who he is.
The video shows Wes out in a field of straw, sitting in a wooden chair as well as running. There are a few other locations to the video as well, but the colors never stray far from that straw-color. He looks tired as he sings, which I think is intentional because in the bio on the video he mentions the importance of the aesthetic. The music goes perfectly with the video, like an explosion of emotion. It really feels like a message that Wes needed to get out, and that makes me love it all the more.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Now and then I wake up and I’m all alone
Wish I could call your phone”
