Over the years, rapper-singer Post Malone has done a lot of evolving. We saw him emerge on the scene as a young rapper with “White Iverson” and evolve into a more hybrid artist with his country and pop influences shining through more and more by the album. This time around, Post Malone seems to have hit the sweet spot. He sounds confident and comfortable in this pocket on “Cooped Up” and the melodically unpredictable verse from Roddy Ricch is the perfect icing on the cake.
