With Valentine’s Day coming up this weekend, emotions are high, and Lil Tjay wants to let you know with his new single that he doesn’t care for a relationship. The 6LACK assisted track titled ‘Calling My Phone’, is an introspective track that shows Tjay deal with the demise of a relationship. The song is cold, and it would be considered a hit for anyone that is alone or dealing with a breakup heading into this romantic weekend.
Although the song is great, the visuals take it to the next level. We see Tjay sit in what looks like an interrogation room as he romanticizes and later fights with his girl. This subtle toxicity allows listeners to visualize the ups and downs of a relationship and shows that this significant other won’t let up even though it’s over. 6LACK comes correct on the hook with his smooth vocals to make it even more clear why they will both be flying solo on Valentine’s Day this year.
