Dog Trainer Impress With Their VHS-Style Video For “Broken Record” (Music Video Review)

If you are in love with finding innovative songs that get stuck in your head, then you need to acquaint yourself with NY Band, Dog Trainer. The band is made up of singer/writer/producer Nick Broman and guitarist/writer/producer Lucas del Calvo. Ever since hearing their last project “Scrolling to Feel Better.. Part One”, I have been hooked on the duo. Now, with their new single “Broken Record”, they have made me a full-fledged fan. The single is led by intoxicating guitar riffs, and the overall feel is punk enough to make you want to smash a beer over your head at your next pre-game. In addition to the song, they also delivered a very cool VHS-styled video for the song.

The video is simple but its grunge feel and candid shots bring back a feeling of nostalgia, and the video ultimately takes me back to the late 90s. Although I love high-budget videos like the next man, the style chosen here was perfect for the song and it was crafted in a tasteful way. With that being said, check the video out above!!
