Chloe Lilac’s ‘10 Things’ Visual Will Have You Shouting, Dancing, and Head-Banging Along

What’s really impressive about Chloe Lilac is her ability to set a scene for the listener. From the music I’ve heard her put out the past year or so, I’m always in awe of how detailed and intentional the emotions are in her songwriting. Her latest, ‘10 Things’ is not just a fun twist on the classic ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ film, but an all-out rager that feels like a full unleash of past hurt and feelings! Lyrics calling out people by their specific names and relaying intimate details behind the relationship fully draw in whoever is listening. That’s a sign of mature songwriting right there!

As if the song itself wasn’t lively enough, these visuals bring out a whole new personality to the track. VHS, 90’s-style portraits give off such a reckless vibe the way rock-n-roll bands from that era did. Chloe Lilac’s emotionally-charged singing throughout is brought out so well, creating a visual representation of that raw energy in the song.

I can’t wait to see what else the year holds for this excitingly unique artist. Check this one out if you haven’t yet!

Lyrics That Stick:

“you knew my heart was breaking

when you ditched me for Nathan”
