The way LXVI is able to write real, vulnerable lyrics while maintaining catchy melodies and a level of storytelling is truly impressive. This track specifically is cool because of how simplistic, yet colorful it is. So many little textures and sounds throughout it make it feel so whole despite the lack of drums. And that whistling on the hook? Amazing.
