Nick Rose Has Us All Under His Spell With His New Single “WANDERING”

Have you ever felt alone or lost after losing a significant other to a bad break up? Well I have the song for you. After listening through hundreds of submissions this week, I came across an emerging artist that goes by the name Nick Rose. Hailing from Connecticut, the 21-year-old artist has been captivating a lot of listeners with his innate ability to craft infectious songs that pull at your heartstrings. Although I’m very unfamiliar to his discography, I was stuck in a trance after listening to his bubbly new single “WANDERING”.
Although the single has a bubbly feel that makes you want to dance, the song is very introspective and raw lyrically. At times, you catch yourself dancing while also feeling sad about a past break-up, and that makes this single so unique. The record is driven by lush melodies, a smooth baseline, and engaging synths that keep you captivated from start to finish. In addition, the vocal execution and songwriting from Rose is exceptional. This is what Nick had to say about the song: “This song was written shortly after my last long-term relationship ended earlier this year, when I just found myself literally wandering without purpose. I've never made a "dance" record or upbeat pop song quite like this before, but it just felt right. I also painted the cover art myself in addition to writing, producing, mixing and mastering the song.” Although this is his debut on our pages, I can’t wait to hear more from the budding artist!
