Ever since her emergence into the music industry in 2017, Chelsea Cutler has been pulling at our heartstrings with her unique brand of introspective love songs that always seem to captivate us. Now, the platinum singer/songwriter is back with a new single titled ‘Walking Away’.
On the single, Cutler floats over a lightly plucked guitar as she discusses details of heartbreak and the ability to free yourself. The single details the intricacies of a complex relationship that you are afraid to let go of, and she shows the stresses and anxiety that come with it. In addition to the smooth production, the single is very personal and it marks the beginning of her highly anticipated sophomore album. Although this is a great introduction to her sophomore album, I can say that we are way more excited than before since hearing the release.
Lyrics That Stick:
“And it's not your fault that we are here
It's not your fault you want independence”
