Laur Elle is blowing me away with her songwriting today. I mean, she’s always been one to translate such genuine emotion and storytelling through her lyrics, but this latest release is on a whole new level. ‘Twenty’ tells a super vulnerable story that feels just as personal as it does relatable.
On top of the wonderful songwriting, the layers of beautiful harmonies and textures throughout this track are just as unforgettable. I love the tone of the guitar from the start, and Elle’s airy, full-of-life vocals give such a warm feel. This is the type of song that’ll be stuck in your head from the moment you hit play.
