Rodd Rigo Links With Bri-C On Their Summer Hit ‘Tropics’

Although he was unknown to me before today, Rodd Rigo has been an emerging artists slowly growing his catalogue within the industry. After gaining traction on songs such as “Bad Vibes” and “Above Your Love” earlier this year, the rising star is back with his new single ‘Tropics’ that features Bri-C.
The song begins with a sweet island guitar melody before introducing trap 808s to the listener. With the production’s ability to perfectly mesh the 808s and intoxicating guitars, Rodd is able to glide over the beat with infectious cadences that will make you want to ride top-down on PCH. In addition to the obvious things you can tell sonically, the groove of the song and it’s ability to make you want to dance stays true to the island vibe I think they were going for. Although Rigo does stand out, Bri-C comes in with a verse that is unforgettable and he really helps complete the song and give it that extra juice at the end.
