Just like the artwork that represents it, ‘Better Than the Real Thing’ by Thoreau, Ro$ko & Snoozegod is peaceful, calm and powerful. Simply put, listening to it has put me in a better mood.
The instrumental that backs the vocals is simple, a guitar with a few different drums laid over it. The verses are rapping, but the drums remain calm, which gives the song a very chill vibe. The chorus is so catchy and makes me want to fall in love for the first time, again. And then be in love with that same girl for the rest of my life.
