This solemn, introspective ballad is exactly what I needed to get through the rest of the week. Slick James didn’t hold back one bit on the vulnerability front, and I can’y help but applaud him for it!
From the deep, crystal-clear production, to James’ effortlessly smooth voice that seems to glide over top is such a simple, yet meaningful way, I loved this one through and through. This dude’s songwriting is just so articulate as well, adding numerous punchlines and nods from his own perspectives. As a listener, you truly get a close glimpse of who he is as an artist and person. Check it out!
