The Kilans release their new single “Crawl”

If we had to describe one of our all-time favorite bands, The Kilans, we’d say they’d be The Fray, if The Fray were a Southern California beach band. Funny since The Kilans are Salt Lake City natives, not surrounded by the ocean at all. The sound this band contains reminds us so much of being immersed in the aspects of a quirky little beach town.

The pulse of the guitar within “Crawl” is intense. The entire instrumental of this song is the moving force, building it up strategically. When the lead singer finishes the line,” I want to crawl inside of you,” I legitimately felt goose bumps.

Putting this band in the same category as The Backseat Lovers and Dogpark, fans of these bands will embrace The Kilans with open arms. There’s no doubt about it. The Kilans plan on being at the Shabang festival next month in San Luis Obispo, but we plan on seeing their name on many festival lineups in the future.
